Mistfall Hunter Description
Mistfall Hunter is a third-person PvPvE extraction ARPG that combines Souls-like melee fighting with high-stakes extraction mechanics. The reference to Elden Ring is intentional: the game prominently displays its dark fantasy style and intentional, impactful combat. However, the extraction loop, where you enter a perilous area, gather loot, battle AI foes and competing players, and flee before losing it all, is heavily influenced by titles such as Dark and Darker and Escape from Tarkov.
In Mistfall Hunter you can engage in solo play or collaborate with up to three players through matchmaking. Each run centers on a fundamental risk-reward dilemma: delve further for superior equipment or safely retreat with your current haul. To retrieve, you must track down particular beings known as Woodlings, gather the bells they drop, and employ those bells to activate an exit portal.
