Sabol Hill Lacuna is a four-band saturation and stereo animation plugin centered on CURRENT — a dual-mono stochastic spectral drift engine that develops the left and right channels independently on a continuous stochastic level, producing movement and stereo separation that remains intact with itself and doesn’t alter the source’s tonal center. Per-band controls feature TAPE, TUBE, and TRANS saturation modes, along with DRIFT (dual-mono band frequency offset) and LEAN (per-band channel preference without hard panning).
Three worldwide box tone settings INFRA, TERRA, SUPRA — utilize consistent internal EQ curves. The saturation phase operates with 2× oversampling internally. It addresses the question: how can I incorporate analog-like motion, breadth, and harmonic richness into a fixed digital source without relying on hardware emulation or typical stereo wideners?
